The Snow Pharma drug manufacturing facility’s foundation stone was laid at the beginning of 2016 in Kandahar province’s Aino Maina Industrial Park with the participation of 71 shareholders. Snow Pharma will invest up to $50 million in three phases. In the second quarter of 2023, the primary phase was completed and was formally opened on June 20, 2023, in front of the honorable cabinet and representatives of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
Snow Pharma provides tablets, capsules, syrups, dry powder suspensions, and sachets that have been certified by worldwide GMP, GLP, ISO, and Afghanistan AFDA standards in the early phase.
The consumer will pay the amount stated on the Snow Pharma product package. Snow Pharma will manufacture cephalosporin medicinal products in injectable and oral forms in the second phase, which has launched construction and will be operational very soon.
With the full operation, Snow Pharma plans to hire up to 1,000 employees directly.
Snow Pharma has a laboratory for medication quality that is approved by the GLP standard, and it tests and analyses each of its products using advanced laboratory equipment, along with other advanced methods, to regulate and certify the quality. It is subsequently distributed to the market.
